Now that we are into the 2024-25 financial year, thoughts are already turning to what the future holds. We know that by this time next year there will to be a new Government, whatever the political makeup, with a General Election happening before the end of January.
This makes future funding ever more uncertain, given we have no confirmation as yet about the relationship between local and central government and how that may change the balance of responsibilities.
