A Government decision to end a training and development programme for social work managers has been branded a ‘kick in the teeth’ for the sector.
Mary Jackson chief executive of Frontline, the organisation which won the £7m contract to run the Pathways programme two years ago, revealed the Department for Education (DfE) had decided to pull the programme.
