High Court challenge against Government energy standards

A legal challenge against Government restrictions on energy efficiency standards is to proceed to the High Court.

The Good Law Project has been granted permission to apply for a judicial review of guidance from the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) in December, prohibiting councils from laying down energy efficiency requirements for housing that exceeded the Government’s own.
