Town hall leaders have hailed the signing of a £250m City Deal for Aberdeen as a boost for the region’s struggling North Sea gas and oil industry.
The deal, which will be jointly funded by the Scottish and UK governments, includes an agreement to build a new oil and gas technology centre and a commitment to expand Aberdeen Harbour.
