Aberdeen City Council has signed a franchise deal with Hilton Worldwide to open a new hotel at the new Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC).

The new hotel is due to open in 2019, boasting 200 rooms, an executive lounge and a cocktail bar, and is expected to create around 350 new jobs.

It will be the fourth Hilton hotel in Aberdeen and will connect directly to the conference centre, which will be four times larger than the existing facility.
