Aberdeenshire Council has named Jim Savege as its new chief executive, replacing current chief Colin Mackenzie.
Currently director of environment and community services at Cumbria CC, Mr Savege has a background in HR and has held a number of senior management positions at Cumbria. Prior to that, he was deputy corporate director of HR at Staffordshire CC.
