Blackpool Airport back in council’s control for £4m

Blackpool Council has bought back Blackpool Airport (pictured) in a £4m deal.

The council sold the site back in 2004 for £13m, but has now confirmed it has taken 100% ownership after a deal with Balfour Beatty.
