‘Develop private sector JVs,’ authorities are told

Councils need to develop stronger working relationships if joint ventures (JVs) with the private sector are to succeed, according to a new report.

The report, entitled Better together: Building a successful joint venture, found while partnerships with the private sector can bring substantial benefits in the shape of investment, expertise and better delivery, a number of JVs fail because both partners have different objectives.
