How about addressing the real issues of the day?

As much as I am a supporter of democracy, sometimes I look at the choices made by the political powers that be and I am utterly baffled.

This week, the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) proudly announced its latest housing figures, revealing it has created 33,000 new homeowners since 2012 under the Right to Buy scheme.

And even more ‘good news’ to come – the rules of Right to Buy are changing so tenants will no longer have to be in their homes for five years to become eligible – they will be able to sign up for a hefty discount after just three years.
