Labour MPs hit out at finance settlement

Communities secretary Greg Clark came under fire yesterday as the finance settlement was debated in the House of Commons.

Former Local Government Association Labour group leader, Jim McMahon, said the sector had been ‘subjected to the whims and follies’ of ministers who use public services as a ‘plaything’.
