Labour councillors in Lancashire are going head-to-head over a borough council’s bid to break away from County Hall.
A referendum on Chorley BC becoming a unitary could be held as early as next May after the council’s Labour leader Cllr Alistair Bradley argued local services were ‘best provided by local people within our borough’.
