Local government is on track for a big finish

The campaign to devolve more power and financial freedoms down to local government is gathering pace as more people add their voices.

Graham Allen MP may have stolen the show this week with his Local Government Independence Bill, which paraded a raft of measures to rewrite the constitution between central and local government.
 
Unfortunately, it’s not actually a Bill – as yet.
