‘Look to regional places to strengthen local economies’

Regional cities must take the lead in rebalancing the London-centric investment market, a think-tank has said.

A new report from the Centre for Cities urged cities across the North, Midlands and Wales to improve efforts to attract private sector investment by taking steps to ‘strengthen their local economy by improving transport, skills and housing’.
