Tower Hamlets LBC’s new mayor has told The MJ he wants the commissioners gone ‘sooner rather than later’ as he looks for a chief executive.
The commissioners, who recently received a pay rise to bring their fees in line with those at Rotherham MBC, are due to be in place until the end of March 2017.
