NAO 'concerned' about accountability as powers devolved

The independent National Audit Office (NAO) will keep a close eye on accountability as Whitehall continues to devolve, its chair Lord Bichard has pledged.

Speaking at The MJ’s Future Forum North today, Lord Bichard said the NAO was ‘especially concerned’ about accountability and warned devolution brought its own challenges in this area.
