Newcastle chief's warning after convictions

The chief executive of Newcastle City Council has warned other areas face similar issues after 18 sex offenders were convicted in a series of trials.

Pat Ritchie was speaking after Northumbria Police secured a number of convictions as part of Operation Sanctuary – a complex investigation launched three years ago into modern day slavery, trafficking and sexual exploitation.
