Oxfordshire reorganisation plans 'dead' after conflicting reports

Local government reorganisation in Oxfordshire could be scrapped altogether after local leaders failed to reach a consensus, according to the leader of Oxford City Council.

Cllr Bob Price said the shake-up was ‘dead’ and that further debate would be a ‘waste of time’ after separate independent reports for the county council and Oxfordshire districts, unveiled this week, came to opposing conclusions.
