Porter confirms he will stand for LGA chairman

LGA conservative group leader, Cllr Gary Porter, has confirmed he will stand to be chairman of the association, following its shift in political control. 

Cllr Porter, who is also leader of South Holland DC, announced he would be standing as a candidate for chairman – although the official process of nominations has not yet begun.
