Power of attorney system 'deeply flawed'

One of Britain’s foremost experts on safeguarding the elderly has warned that the power of attorney system is deeply flawed.

Denzil Lush, a judge at the Court of Protection for 20 years who oversaw 6,000 applications for power of attorney (PoA), said people should be more aware of the risks involved with the regime.
