Public needs better fire safety information councils are told

Councils should be more proactive in making fire safety information available to the public, the Information Commissioner has urged.

In a blog written for the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) last week, Elizabeth Denham said councils and other public authorities should publish relevant information before being asked to do so by freedom of information requests.
