Rely on local politicians until the crisis settles

One thing is for certain this week – nothing is certain.

In the aftermath of the UK’s vote to leave the EU, it is not even clear if we will leave the EU, let alone who will be leading the country. The impact on local government is, as yet, anyone’s call.

While much hangs on who lands in No 10 – and No 11 – the sector must step into the breach and be ready to lobby the next government.
