Birmingham City Council chief executive Mark Rogers has said the city’s reaction to ‘expert’ Steve Emerson’s comments last week on US TV network Fox News was a tribute to the people of Birmingham.
Mr Emerson apologised over the weekend after describing Birmingham as a ‘Muslim-only city’ and a no-go area for non-Muslims during an interview following the terrorism attack in Paris.
