Serco will keep council contracts

Troubled outsourcing firm Serco this week reversed a decision to sell off its environmental services and leisure businesses.

The two businesses, which have a combined annual revenue of around £140m and a ‘strong pipeline of opportunities’, serve a number of UK local authorities.
