Homecare providers have warned that a gaping hole in their finances poses ‘genuine risks’ to the viability of state-funded services as they threaten to pull out of council contracts.
The UK Homecare Association (UKHCA) today called on the Government to adequately fund councils after it revealed its sector was facing a £513m deficit in 2016/17.
