Tory councillors urge Cameron to push for Brexit

More than 100 Conservative councillors have warned prime minister David Cameron he has no choice but to campaign to leave the European Union (EU).

In a letter today the 130 councillors, mainly from shire districts across England, insisted that as Mr Cameron’s original manifesto conditions ‘have not been met’ in the draft agreement he should ‘unite your party’ and join the ‘no’ campaigners.
