We’re helping to educate a new generation of people

By Neil Fergus | 12 October 2016

On the never-ending to-do list for principals and head teachers is the responsibility for maintaining school buildings so they are safe, warm and weather-proof Iin order to provide a suitable learning environment.

While this is a fundamental priority, it is no doubt a time-consuming distraction – one which teachers usually don’t have the time for.

At Pinnacle, we understand the pressures faced by executive teams in the education sector and work closely with each team to deliver effective facilities management services. By becoming ‘one of the team’ we can effectively take away this extra burden to free up teacher’s time so they can focus on the all-important task of developing pupils to reach their full potential.

Key to our successful 20-year track record is placing equal importance on both customer service and technical service delivery. We assign a dedicated single point of contact to work proactively alongside each and every client to agree operational plans and protocols.

Our services in schools are provided by an experienced and qualified team of technical managers, supported by a body of 1,300 cleaning, grounds maintenance, tradespeople, caretaking and catering operatives. We can provide flexible delivery models, from directly delivering all services to working with a range of local suppliers.

Our service offer extends beyond core delivery of facilities to increase the wider social impact of our activities. These include initiatives such as Futures Week – a Pinnacle-organised event where we provide career sessions and work tasters for year students looking to enter trade, hospitality, engineering and facilities management sectors.

Another similar initiative includes our Leap into Action projects – a range of targeted activities which encourage students to volunteer their time to help regenerate parts of the school’s estate.
Pinnacle PSG, part of Pinnacle Group, is a leading provider of educational facilities management services, delivering services to more than 150 schools, academies and colleges throughout the UK.
