Yorkshire – or as locals call it God’s Own Country – has a long history of boast and bravado.

The proud county’s many and incessant claims to fame include its beautiful rolling hills, cultural pioneers such as the Bronte sisters and being the engine room of Britain’s powerhouse Victorian economy.
