Diary was saddened to hear of the impending divorce of Breckland and South Holland DCs, described in council papers as an ‘uncoupling’.
South Holland leader, Lord Porter, was at pains to stress the amicable nature of the split, claiming: ‘This is not a suitcase out the window with all your belongings job, it’s more a case of sitting down and splitting the CDs.’ He still has CDs, apparently.
