Liverpool’s mayor has revealed he was voluntarily interviewed under police caution as part of a probe into alleged financial irregularities in the tendering of contracts.
In a message to councillors, seen by The MJ, Joe Anderson said he had ‘positively wanted to attend to evidence my full cooperation and assistance in their enquiries’.
