Falkirk Council has responded encouragingly to previous concerns but needs effective leadership to deliver its five-year improvement programme, the Accounts Commission has said.
A report by the commission said improvements had been made in financial planning and performance reporting, and there was ‘good commitment’ from officers and councillors to the authority’s transformation programme.
