Authorities ‘must take control of integrated care models’

Local authorities must take more responsibility for their poor performance in delivering integrated care models, MPs have warned.

The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) last week published a damning report on the £5bn Better Care Fund (BCF), which required local authorities and health bodies to pool funding and commit to joint care plans.
