Barrow urged to ‘maintain momentum’

New ways of working and increased staff capacity will be required to tackle the challenges faced by Barrow BC, a corporate peer challenge has concluded.

The newly-published report, based on a visit that took place prior to the coronavirus pandemic, found that the borough faced ‘significant challenges’ including an ageing population, health inequalities, deprivation, youth unemployment and crime.
