Bill passes as intervention powers reined in

The Health and Care Bill has officially received Royal Assent following months of wrangling between the House of Commons and Lords.

Health secretary Sajid Javid hailed the Act as the 'most significant change to the healthcare system in a decade,’ with the groundwork now laid down for the new Integrated Care Systems.
