Birmingham enters new ICT deal with Capita

Birmingham City Council is reviewing proposals to dissolve the company that delivers its ICT services.

The council’s joint venture partnership with Capita, called Service Birmingham, was launched in 2006. It mainly provides the council’s information technology, council tax and business rates administration service, as well as its safeguarding services to schools in the city.
