Birmingham facing greatest challenge 'in council's history'

Senior Birmingham city councillors have been warned that £86m proposed savings over the next four years may not be achievable.

A report to a meeting of Birmingham City Council’s cabinet next week said the £86m represented around 10% of its total general fund budget.
