Bonds agency boss optimistic despite delay

The boss of the Municipal Bonds Agency (MBA) has expressed optimism in the wake of changes to its joint and several guarantee.

Directors of the agency are understood to have a ‘reasonable expectation’ that the company will be able to provide financing to local authorities below the Public Works Loan Board rate when it finally issues a bond.
