Brexit advisers in devolution call

Powers that are repatriated to the UK after Brexit should be handed out to devolved regions to boost local economies, finance experts have said.

The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA)’s Brexit advisory commission for public services also warned there could be an increase in unfilled vacancies in local government due to the uncertainty over the rights of EU citizens.
