Brokenshire dodges Right to Buy question

Housing secretary James Brokenshire has refused to disclose how much councils have been required to pay back to the Treasury in Right to Buy (RTB) receipts.

Asked by shadow housing secretary, John Healey, to provide national totals for the Treasury’s RTB take, Mr Brokenshire told Parliament the department did not publish the information ‘because it quickly falls out of date’.
