Wiltshire is not in crisis.
There were many important points raised at the County Councils’ Network conference this week – and indeed at the London Councils Summit and NCAS conference – but the simple statement made by Wiltshire Council’s leader Baroness Scott is an important reminder. Despite how it feels, not all councils are on the brink of collapse.
