Buckinghamshire faces ticking clock to get unitary over the line

Buckinghamshire’s planned unitary council faces a tight schedule to get up and running as it faces continuing opposition from the districts.

Without the support of the four district councils – Aylesbury Vale, Chiltern, South Bucks and Wycombe – the necessary order to create the unitary must pass through Parliament before the end of March.
