Councils across the country have reported receiving scores of fraudulent applications for business grants, The MJ has learnt.
Reliable intelligence shared by the National Anti-Fraud Network (NAFN) revealed it was now aware of more than 170 fraudulent applications, with one member reportedly receiving 11 applications from the same internet protocol address in just one morning.
