CIPFA blocks publication of failed project review

The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) has refused to publish a report assessing whether it has learnt lessons from a failed counter-fraud project.

Former deputy auditor general at the National Audit Office, Martin Sinclair, made a range of recommendations to improve the processes, culture and maturity of governance and delivery at CIPFA in an independent review in October 2020.
