Call for clarity on social care testing and data

Systems for accessing COVID-19 testing data for care homes and the provision of coronavirus tests in other settings have come under fire from providers and a council.

Executive director at the National Care Forum Vic Rayner said local Public Health England (PHE) teams are relying on care homes to ‘manually update them on the presence of positive cases’.
