Local Council Tax Support (LCTS) costs should be considered as part of the fair funding review, a sector finance expert has urged.
The call has been made in a report by Paul Woods, chief financial officer at the North East Combined Authority, expected to be discussed at a meeting of the joint sector-government needs and distribution working group next month.
