Case for Edinburgh tourist tax builds

Edinburgh City Council leader, Cllr Adam McVey, has argued a small tourist levy would be in the ‘best interests’ of residents, businesses and visitors.

In his monthly report, Cllr McVey said the council was ‘continuing to build a case around securing powers to introduce a transient visitor levy [TVL]’.
