Children's services to be slashed over coming year, new research reveals

More than 50% of councils analysed in new research plan to cut spending on children’s services over the next year.

Research by the Bureau of Investigative Journalism found 57 out of 101 councils that released their budget proposals for 2018/2019 plan to cut children’s services as part of a cost-saving drive.
