Conservatives win back leadership of the LGA

The Conservatives have regained the leadership of the Local Government Association (LGA) after a shock shift to the party in the local elections.

The party now holds a greater share of the association - 40.6% compared with Labur’s 40%, the LGA confirmed yesterday.
