Contingency plans for waste contract end

Two councils have issued a prior information notice (PIN) to make organisations aware of a potential opportunity to take over a long-term waste management contract.

Derby City Council and Derbyshire CC are preparing for the possible end of their current contract with Resource Recovery Solutions (RRS) – a partnership between national construction firm Interserve and waste management company Renewi.
