Leaders of the UK’s cities met with EU chief negotiator Michel Barnier yesterday in a crucial bid to have their voices heard on Brexit.
Amid increasing frustration at being ignored by the UK Brexit secretary, the Core Cities flew to Brussels to bypass the Government and speak directly to the EU on behalf of their communities.
