Cornwall Council is on course to overspend its budget by around £18m by the end of the financial year.
Senior councillors heard this week that Cornwall was facing a forecast revenue budget gap of £39m by the end of 2021-22, which had been brought down to £18m - largely due to one-off funding for COVID-19 pressures of £18m.
